Firecracker Hot Honey Naan Pizza with Chorizo
A spicy, flavorful naan pizza made easily in your oven or on the grill.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg 4 count Panaji Roasted Garlic Naan
- 4 chorizo sausages
- 1 sliced red onion
- 2 cups sliced mozzarella
- 2 sliced, de-seeded jalapeno peppers, one red, one green
- ½ cup honey
- 1 tbsp of chili flakes
- Fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Remove casing from chorizo sausages and cut into pieces. Cook chorizo in a frypan over medium heat for about 6 minutes, stirring and breaking sausage into bite-sized chunks.
- Drain most of the fat from the pan and add onion slices to the sausage. Stir and cook until onion is softened.
- Lay naan on a baking tray. Top with sliced mozzarella, sausage and onions, and sliced jalapenos.
- Heat naan pizza until cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare hot honey by mixing warmed honey with chili flake.
- To serve, top each naan pizza with a drizzle of hot honey and basil leaves.
